Fair questions
Asked. Answered.
Honestly.
The questions we'd want answered before signing anything ourselves. Nothing dodged, nothing sanitised.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Physical stores, service businesses, ecom brands, coaches, cafes, trades, and personal brands of every stage. What we film is what you actually do, wherever that happens. Products in a studio, coffee in the shop, a training session in the gym, an office where the work gets done. The capture model adapts to your business, not the other way round.
I hate being on camera. Is this dead on arrival?
No. It's the most common starting point, and it's why the format is documentary, not performance. We don't hand you a script or a teleprompter. We film your real day and ask questions you already know the answers to. Most people forget the camera is there within the hour. And if on-camera really isn't for you, voiceover and behind-the-scenes work too.
Why would anyone care about my story or my business?
Because nobody's seen it yet. Everyone wonders what a coffee shop's morning looks like, how a founder actually got started, what a craftsperson's hands do all day. Our first job is finding what's genuinely interesting about you or your business before a camera ever comes out. Real stories told honestly are the most-watched format on every platform. That's not a pep talk, it's the data.
What if we don't have a following yet?
Most of our clients don't when they start. That's the point. We build reputation from zero, not from an existing audience. What we capture and how we post it is designed for the people you want to reach, not the ones already following you.
Isn't this just trying to become an influencer?
No. That distinction is the whole service. Influencers sell audience size. We build reputation. 2,000 highly relevant followers can be more valuable than 200,000 random ones. The chain we build is attention → reputation → trust → opportunity: customers, clients, partnerships, press. Views are a means. A business or a name people recognise before you introduce yourself is the end.
What if we've tried content before and it didn't work?
Usually the reason is one of two things. Either the format was wrong for the business (staged, generic, over-produced), or the consistency dropped after two months and everything went cold. We solve both. What we film is real, not staged. What we post lands every week without you having to think about it.
How much of my time does this actually take?
About one session a month, plus approving cuts from your phone. That's the whole design. You keep running the business, we handle everything else. If you're spending more time than that on content, we've failed at our own pitch.
Do you post it for us, or do we post it?
We post it. Every piece. Captions, scheduling, timing, all handled. You approve from your phone, and only if you want to. If you'd rather not touch it at all after filming, we run the account. Your accounts, our work.
How fast will I see results?
Honest answer: views move in weeks, opportunities take months. Anyone promising inbound customers or deals in 14 days is selling you something. What we promise is volume and consistency, which is the only input you can actually control. The compounding does the rest.
What happens after we sign up?
We book your first session within the first two weeks. Before that we send a short brief so we know what you want captured and what matters most about your business. After the session, first cuts land within days, and from there we're on a monthly rhythm. As we learn what works for you, we adjust.
Do we need to sign a long-term contract?
No long-term lock-in. We ask for a rolling monthly commitment because content needs consistency to work. One month tells you nothing. You can cancel any time, and you keep everything we've made together.
What if we're not in Toronto?
Toronto is our home base. Most small business work happens within the GTA. For personal brand partnerships we can travel further. If you're outside Toronto, tell us where when you get in touch and we'll be honest about what makes sense.
Who owns the footage and the accounts?
You do. Full stop. Your accounts, your raw footage, your edits. All yours, including if we stop working together. We keep a copy only to keep making your content. No hostage clauses.
