The origin

How three6media started.

The algorithm found them first.

Nick had been in Toronto for years. Jack was still in the UK, planning the move that would put an ocean between his family and everything they knew. They connected before Jack had a Canadian address.

Nick sent the first message. Not about business. About football. There's a club here called Toronto Irish. Come and play when you land.

Jack landed. Showed up to tryouts. Made the team.

First preseason session, warming up on the pitch, they got into it properly. Both British. Both had bet everything on starting again in Canada.

Then this. They'd both become fathers at 36. Nick has a family of three. Jack has a family of three. Six people. In the 6ix.
